Jabren's Last Two Treatments

At this point I was happy that everything turned out better than I imagined, and I had all the benefits I had ever desired, but I decided to have three more ellimination treatments done just because they are common in food. They are: whiten-all (found in a lot of deli foods as a preservative), Gum (gum mix, like guar gum, acacia gum, etc.) and food coloring.
He cleared them. Of course food coloring we all know is not good for anybody, but when you're allergic it has negative affects instead of just not being good for you.
Other allergies yet to be treated:
1. Food additives,
2. vegetable mix
3. His RNA and DNA (I don't fully understand this, but it has something to do with how your body reads proteins and uses them, his doesn't do it quite right?)
4. Perfume mix
5. animal epitheral (skin)
6. animal dender,
7. Smoke, i.e. cigarette, fire, and cured meats that have been smoked.
As of now these have not been treated.

It worked, no more rashes.

So the last post ends with whether or not Jabrens skin will improve after finishing his animal fats treatment and a night of dairy overload or would he get severe hives and eczema. I was very curious to see the results. My feelings were similar to the feeling of anticipation of Christmas morning. He came in our room the next morning and we pulled up his pant legs to see the results. Even though I fully expected the treatment to work I was delightfully surprised to find that not only did he not have more severe rashes, but that the broken skin and sores looked like they were healing and as I rubbed my hand up and down the back of his knees, I felt supple skin, something we've never experienced without a lot of creams, and hydrocortisone. His legs weren't red, but turning a normal pink color that didn't look dry and irritated.I was so completely happy and so was Jabren! If you haven't experienced it, its so difficult to ablsolutely always deny a child of something that every other kid can have. And the most sad is when they already know they can't and they don't even attempt to debate it because they know there are consequences that will cause them pain, and so as a parent you hurt even more for them that they are facing these grown up feelings of deprivation at such an innocent ageYou feel sad for them and guilty at the same time that even you can partake of things they can't. These little ones quickly become mature because of it. They know they are different and they are exceptions to the rule. Social gatherings with food always have huge questions with them. What will they eat, how do I give him a treat when dessert will always have something more delicious and enticing than any treat I could bring along? I could see in Jabren the growth that comes to anyone when facing such a trial. So, if you can imagine, my emotions of thrill and delight and wonderment were great. My desire to document this journey and tell anyone interested about it, started with this discovery and "cure".Not everyday do you as a parent get to feel that you just conquered a huge battle for and with your child. Doing these NAET treatments gave me such peace as a parent that there are answers and resolutions to some of lifes most difficult health challenges.Little did I know that these first three allergy elliminations were not the end of the road of our work with NAET, though we knew we were done with allergies to milk. We did not just forget about NAET and move on. The more I read the more I realized this could help the rest of my children with what was going on for them even though I thought they would only have minor and minimal allergies at most. Before this, it never would have occured to me that the struggles we were having with our two younger boys could possibly have anyting to do with allergies. They didn't have hives or upset stomachs or other reactions that I would typically look for. So how could they possibly really be allergic to anything? So, as much as anything I was very curious and I determined that I would get our younger boys tested soon.(Also, when further tested to be sure he cleared treatment for animal fats, the Doctor tested to see if all the Vitamins E, D, K, F, and T had cleared with somehow, since these are fat soluble vitamins. Turkey also cleared with this treatment. Turkey is tested separately, because of the serotonin factor found in it. It is typical that these all are elliminated with the animal fat treatment. And they did!)

Animal Fats-3rd Treatment-Does it work?

August 20, 2007
Because Jabrens milk allergy seemed to cause only skin irritation and not stomach aches, I assumed he was allergic to the fat in dairy, not lactose. So, before giving him any dairy, we continued on with the next allergy, animal fats. We did it on Wednesday, August 20th and after the treatment and testing it was determined, with MRT, that this would take 31 hours to clear, not the usual 25. That would mean his treatment would finish at 6 p.m. on the 21st, his dads birthday. We had a big party for dad, with cake, ice cream, and pizza. The party began at 7 p.m. After everyone arrived we told Jabren to go ahead and have a piece of pizza. He took a slice of cheese and then told my little sister, Juleen "Look, I get to have pizza!" He was just beaming. My mother in law commented that maybe we shouldn't start off giving him very much dairy just in case. I had contemplated this idea, too. But I came to the conclusion that I wanted to know absolutely if he was "cured". If he ate everything he wanted that night, then I would know the next day, just by looking at his skin.He had more dairy that night than he had had total in the last 6 months: 2 pieces of cheese pizza, ice cream and butter cream frosting on chocolate cake. So, the truth would be told tomorrow. Does NAET work? Are these treatments going to give my life back? Will eating out, at restaurants or family parties not be a stressfull event? All my hopes were hinging on how the events of tonight would play out on his skin tomorrow.
To clarify, after having just a yogurt his skin would flare up bright red, with dry and itchy eczema, and hives. As a baby sometimes he would bleed when his eczema on his cheeks got bad enough, but now it was the worst behind his knees and sometimes thighs and his back. So this dairy overload at Jakes birthday party was going to prove definite results. Positive or negative, I would know the results of NAET as an effective tool in treating allergies and other health problems.
One more thing to note: It was also at this visit that she tested the next 18 allergens on the list. I thought he only had a few, but this testing proved to show a lot. Here's the list:Turkey, whiten-all (found in deli salads as a preservative) alcohol, gum mix, vitamins E, D, K, F, and T, food coloring, and food additives.Back at home:At this point, I had been reading anything I could get my hands on regarding the effectiveness of NAET. Now, there were a lot of skeptics to be found online, but usually the skeptics had only heard how it worked and thought it was absurd. Then there were all the people I found who had actually done the treatments. In hundreds of stories I found less than a handful were not satisfied. On the contrary, those who had done it had absolutely positive and exciting results. I also began reading and asking our practitioner many, many questions. Her answers always made sense, and if I couldn't comprehend everything she explained I would go home and study it out and find greater clarity and her remarks always were clearer to me. Explanations just made sense. She could always help me understand my questions and suggest it was possible through allergy ellimination to have the health results I desired in my family.
In future posts regarding my second son, Joshs NAET experience, I'll explain why this was important to me.Many people who go through treatments do not study it out to find out how it works and thus believe it doesn't make sense or its crazy, but benefits are undeniable. And yet they are satisfied that they are getting the results they sought out.Because of the many skeptics in my close relationships, I felt a need to not only do treatments, but also study it out and understand how and why it worked. I'm not good at just speaking my thoughts clearly when confronted with skeptism or doubt unless I can logically defend my knowledge after much study and research. But also, at the core of who I am, and also intellectually, through this methods scientific explanation I began to comprehend how this method could resolve a vast variety of health problems directly related to allergies one never even knew they had. If I did not understand it, I would not be able to articulate to others it effectiveness in a manner that they could believe me enough to at least try it out. I knew this because it took me 10 months of hearing about it before I just tried it, not knowing anything except a doctor claimed she could elliminate allergies.

SUGAR, SUGAR, SUGAR

August 13, 2007
Next Treatment: Sugar. As the Doctor tested his allergy again and how far away he needed to stay away from sugar, his body showed through MRT (muscle resistance testing), to be sensitive to sugar up to 57 feet! Or in other words, very allergic. We proceeded with the treatment, went home and followed the rules of no sugar for 25 hours, which included not going outside, because fruits and vegetables were in season and outside in the garden and bagging up all my sugar and placing in the garage. So we had another movie.I cannot specifically remember which treatments he had emotional breakdowns, and irritability with but, those were some things we dealt with during some of them.I believe he actually slept in the late afternoon on this one. Needing extra sleep seemed to be a byproduct of treatments.August 20, 2007 we went in and he cleared his sugar allergy. So I asked the doctor if after his animal fats treatment if she thought he would not be allergic to dairy. She matter of factly stated that he was probably good to have it now that he cleared sugar. In my mind I thought, "For certain, I know he still has not cleared for dairy products. We still need to do animal fats before that could happen." She said "We can check to be sure right now." After slipping specific vials of lactose, milk, and cheese into my hand while he held my wrist, then testing him through me, my arm showed complete strength.I was in shock. I asked, "Are you serious?" I just couldn't comprehend being at the end of our dairy allergy. I left her office in a daze. It was like someone just told me I won the lottery. It took awhile to sink in. And yet, once in our car I started laughing, crying and screaming all at once. Jabren looked at me like I was crazy and I just kept telling him he wasn't allergic anymore. This day finally came, so much sooner than we ever believed - that he could have ice cream, cheese, and yogurt, anything he wanted. Dairy is in nearly everything. We had told him that this day would come, but when we promised him that we ourselves didn't know if that would truly be possible. Because he had gone without it, I decided to put off incorporating it in his diet until we finished the animal fats. After that treatment then we would try it out and see if we noticed a change in reactions. One of my afterthoughts regarding sugar:His second allergy: sugar, surprised me, but a few months after this treatment I thought back to a previous experience we had a year before. Nearly 10 months before this treatment, I finally concluded that Jabren needed to be tested for Diabetes. He had a lot of symptoms that were a sign of it, and the more I read the more I got scared. I needed to know conclusively so I could put the worry aside. The longer diabetes goes undiagnosed the worse the damage. I'm not a worrier, nearly ever, so for me to be this concerned I figured I needed to do something. We went to his pediatrician in October 2006 and she said not to worry. His blood sugar levels were fine. Relieved, I still wondered about his excessive thirst, constant potty breaks, the sometimes smell on his breath of acetone, and shaking, from what I thought was low blood sugar. All of these are symptoms of it.As I write, in June 2008 he rarely, if ever has any of these symptoms anymore.

VITAMIN C-Jabrens 1st Treatment

We prepared for the first treatment - Vitamin C - by putting everything containing vitamin C in plastic bags, in the fridge or out of reach. The Dr. explained that he would need to avoid touching or eating anything with it for the next 25 hours. That also meant he couldn't go outside because of grass and fruit tree's.The treatment started with testing him to be sure he was allergic to it. He was. Then she had me lay on the chiropractic table and Jabren held my arm and wrist. In my hand I had a vial containing the vitamin C mix. She administered accupressure down my spine three times along with specific breathing methods during the accupressure. It took maybe a minute. The entire time Jabren held my arm. Somehow he receives the benefit of the treatment, not me. It just goes through me. It was that easy. She slipped the vial into Jabren's sock (adults would just hold it in there hand) for skin contact, and sent us to wait for 15 minutes in the waiting room. Because the spinal accupressure had just been applied causing the brain to be alert and very receptive to new information, the following 15 minutes of being in contact with the Vitamin C (or any allergen) is allowing the brain to reprogram that this is not a dangerous substance to attack. Vitamin C itself is very neccessary, not bad for us, but sometimes are brain recognizes it and many other very good things as something negative and sends out forces to take it on to destroy, thus causing all kinds of repercussions and health problems and diseases. After 15 minutes, the doctor tested that his body responded to the treatment, how long he needed to stay away from the substance, and how far away. His body did respond and he had to stay away for 25 hours and he had to stay 67 feet away from Vitamin C!We went home and did the best we could, he escaped outside twice, but all worked out. We went for the next treatment where she first tested to see if he "cleared" the vitamin C. As he held my wrist and I held the vial in my right hand, holding my left arm out I strongly resisted her downward pressure, indicating that his body now responds positive to it. Before this treatment my arm would just drop to the ground.I was convinced! It was very literal results. Hard to explain but very real. I now believed this could be the answer to resolving his dairy allergy.

Making the Call and Our First Visit

Six weeks after seeing Jabrens pediatrician, we were preparing to go out of town for a family reunion and I was planning menu's with extended family members. I was facing yet another challenging situation of feeding Jabren with crowds who have plenty of food with dairy in it. Minimizing Jabrens deprivation of treats, snacks and such is easier at home where I am in control but social settings were so challenging. So I called and made the appointment. As I spoke with Dr. Judit McCullough, a chiropractor with specific training in NAET, I asked her lots of questions out of skepticism. Basically she told me yes she does what my friend claims and that her own son went into anaphalactic shock and was rushed to the emergency room from contact with peanuts when he was 18 months old. She easily and confidently stated that when he was 5 he had the treatments and ever since then he has not had a problem. He was now 9 and makes PB and J sandwiches all the time.I believed her. I was at my parents house and I was so excited. That was the start of me truly believing there was an end in sight for Jabrens dairy allergy. At this point I only believed he was allergic to the protein in milk and NOT lactose intolerant.Since he was very little he had bright red, almost blistered cheeks and rashes behind his knees and in his elbow creases. He also spit up a lot. I gave him a cheese stick when he was about 9 months old and he spit it all up. Later on, he got sick with rosieola, but before we knew it was that we thought the rash was food related. As I talked with my mother in law she advised I try cutting dairy out for two weeks and see what happened. So I started a dairy free diet when he was 10 months old. Immediately he stopped spitting up. I was convinced though doctors did not support my theory. As he grew and was capable of communicating he never complained of stomach aches or that sugar bothered him, which most kids who have lactose intolerance do. But now looking back he never had dairy. (This is important to the story later on, so when it gets posted I'll bring it up.)His appointment for evaluation was at the end of July just before the reunion. I was at first disappointed that he wouldn't be starting a treatment at this visit. I just wanted this thing done, so I could move on in life. Now I comprehend the process, which just takes preparation and time. We went in and after going through his medical history she pulled out a sheet of paper with 78 allergens listed. Wow, that seemed like a lot; I was very curious to know what she would find on Jabren. The best way to explain how she tested is this. Energy, like electricity is out there. There is a start of energy and then there are conductors to move it. Jabren was the start of his energy field and I was just a conduit which could be tested to see what his energy field reacted negative and positive to. (This is my explanation not an official NAET explanation.)So, she had Jabren hold my right wrist and then she tested my left arm for strength (through muscle resistance testing or MRT). I had strength and could strongly resist her downward pressure on my arm. This demonstrated a base line, or that he was strong and healthy . Then she started slipping little vials in my right hand, Jabren held my right wrist and I held my left arm up as she would push it down after each vial was slipped into my hand. After the first two I had had strenghth. Then some I had no resistance. I was completely shocked! The difference in strength in my arm was very real. It was very literal and possibly only believeable if you experience for yourself how dramatic the difference is.By the end of this visit, she had tested the first 26 and he was only allergic to three things. Vitamin C mix, Sugar Mix and Animal fats. Three treatments and I figured we would know if this whole NAET stuff really worked. She showed me after finding a few of his allergens, that when he let go of my wrist and tested just me that I could resist whereas before I literally could not.
